About the course
NZ Cert in Commercial Barbering is the 2nd and final qualification to become a qualified Barber. it is a 180 (120 completed in L3 Barber Skills) credit programme and you must have work or a Work opportunity in a commercially operating barbershop. It covers the necessary unit standards around running a commercial barbering chair and describing the fundamentals of wet shaving as well as consultation and communication skills.
Entry requirements
must have prior learning in Barbering and or hairdressing. Be physically and mentally fit to cope with the demands of a commercial Barbershop and be proficient in English Speaking, reading and writing.
