About the course
The NZ certificate in Barber Skills is a level 3 programme and is Approved for use by NZQA and TEC. It is Student loan and allowance compliant. The NZ Certificate in Barber Skills is a 120 Credit programme and runs for 36 weeks and covers Barbering specific units as well as customer service, retailing and professional practice units. This is the entry level qualification to Barbering and must be completed before moving into NZ Cert Commercial Barbering level 4
Entry requirements
Open to all domestic learners who are over 16 years of age. You must be proficient in the english language in all areas of spoken, written, and reading. You must be physically and mentally fit and able to cope with the demands of a commercial Barbershop.
