About the course

This programme offers students an opportunity to graduate with the skills to work in entry-level positions in the beauty therapy industry. Students will spend time applying practical skills in the Wintec Urban Spa and will also undertake work based learning at a beauty therapy clinic, working alongside beauty therapists in the industry.  

Students will learn a range of beauty services and the required professional practices required to be a beauty therapist including; spray tanning, waxing, nails, makeup, facials and eye enhancement treatments.  Alongside these practical skills, students will be developing their knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to these beauty therapy services and building their understanding of the chemistry behind beauty therapy products.
