Bachelor of International Tourism and Hotel Management

About the course

Choose our Bachelor Degree if you want to truly immerse yourself in the Tourism Industry. You’ll work with the industry throughout your learning, be part of international internships and projects and experience entrepreneurial activities to boost your business skills.

The first and second year of your degree will consist of either of the below options, depending on which path you would like to take. Refer to the Diploma in Hotel & Hospitality Management Level 5 and the Diploma in Hotel & Hospitality Management Level 6 OR the Diploma in Travel and Tourism Level 5 and the Diploma in Travel & Tourism Level 6.

You then progress on to the final year of your degree, which brings together the knowledge, theories, skills, capabilities and experiences of your first and second year, into a series of case studies.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students All applicants must:

  • have a qualification in travel or tourism Level 4
  • have achieved a high level of attendance in previous courses undertaken Note: an entry assessment may be required. This is to determine your ability to read and understand textbooks and ability to write an essay.

International Students All international students must:

  • be a minimum of 18 years of age at the start of all courses.
  • completed Secondary School offshore or New Zealand Year 12 or equivalent work experience have English language proficiency as outlined in the International pages on this website
