About the provider
The University has a mission to help: feed the world, protect the future, and live well. It is predicted that by 2050 the world's population will reach 9.2 billion people: this will create challenges that need solutions. As these two, potentially conflicting, concepts become increasingly pressing we will also want to be living well on our planet. Lincoln University is a uniquely and deliberately specialised university finding solutions for these challenges. To achieve our mission, Lincoln is positioned to work alongside industry, the community, and people from around the globe. The University's qualifications range from certificate level through to PhD - and our teaching and research covers all activity associated with the land-based sectors to meet the needs of not only New Zealand but also the world. Lincoln students come from all over New Zealand and from more than 60 countries around the world. Once studies are completed, Lincoln graduates can be found around the globe making a difference.
