About the course
This qualification is an appropriate introduction to postgraduate study and will provide a vehicle for the completion of partial requirements for advanced work.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Science is, in effect, the first half of the Postgraduate Diploma in Science. Candidates admitted to the Postgraduate Certificate in Science may have the opportunity to proceed to the Postgraduate Diploma in Science or the Master of Science depending upon achievement in the Postgraduate Certificate.

Admission to the Postgraduate Certificate in Science and Technology requires you to have one of the following minimum requirements, at an appropriate level of academic achievement:
a Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, technology or engineering with a major in the intended postgraduate subject, or equivalent. a Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, technology or engineering followed by a Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology comprising approved 300-level courses in the intended postgraduate subject. any Bachelor’s degree followed by a Graduate Diploma in Science and Technology comprising approved 300-level courses in the intended postgraduate subject. be admitted with equivalent experience to an undergraduate degree in a subject comprising at least seven years of appropriate level work experience approved by authorised College nominee.
