About the course
Bachelor of Music graduates will demonstrate an understanding of the different disciplines of musical theory, have well-developed musicianship skills, and an understanding of the social, historical and stylistic contexts of the music they are performing or researching. They will demonstrate the analytical and technical skills required to develop advanced creative and critical abilities, and academic preparedness for postgraduate study in music in New Zealand and overseas.
Entry requirements
A New Zealand university entrance qualification or equivalent. Audition and music theory test.
