About the course
BMLSc graduates possess a comprehensive background in the basic and clinical sciences required for the profession of Medical Laboratory Science and are prepared for employment in medical laboratories which assist in the diagnosis of human diseases. An MSc in Medical Laboratory Science is also offered for BMLSc graduates interested in further study to advance their careers. The MSc in MLS is a mixture of course work and research which can be undertaken while employed in a medical laboratory.
Entry requirements
A New Zealand university entrance qualification or equivalent. Must include chemistry and should include biology and one mathematics subject.
