About the course

On successful completion of this programme, a graduate will be able to: Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle engine components, layouts and functions; Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques; Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle refinishing practices; Carry out service, repair and modification operations under direction and supervision in accordance with current Industry practice; Acquire knowledge to operate as a self directed learner; Work in a team environment and to attend to customer requirements with integrity and professionalism; Adapt to change within the Motor Industry environment; Continually up-skill to meet the demands of modern technology; Have the necessary skills, knowledge and aptitude to commence an apprenticeship in the Automotive Industry and to work towards a National Certificate.
