About the course
Graduates from this programme will: Demonstrate the personal attributes and attitudes expected of someone entering a pre-trade programme, an apprenticeship and/or the workforce at an elementary level Demonstrate appropriate academic competencies required to confidently enter trade training or the workforce at an elementary level, including technical language, literacy and numeracy skills ? Have experienced a range of trades to clarify their career and/or study aspirations within the trades area ? Demonstrate familiarity with and basic competency in the use of the tools and equipment common to their chosen trade ? Be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment ? Demonstrate the ability to maintain health and safety at work
