Certificate for Health Support Assistants (Level 4)

This programme will prepare a generic health support worker who can: - work with a range of health professional groups; -communicate effectively with health professionals and clients in different contexts; -select procedures appropriate to their scope of practice; - establish effective relationships with clients and other health professionals; -carry out delegated tasks under supervision and take responsibility for their own practice; -provide culturally sensitive services that recognise the diversity of the population group; - recognise relevant organisational and legal requirements; - take responsibility for maintaining a safe environment; -make a valued contribution to the healthcare team
