About the course

Graduates of this programme will be able to: - Identify and manage hazards associated with the Automotive Industry. - Use and maintain hand tools and workshop equipment. - Provide customer service as it relates to the automotive service industry. - Select lubricants and carry out pre inspection checks related to the automotive servicing industry. - Identify components within automotive systems. - Clean and maintain automotive components. - Balance wheels and inspect brakes. - Remove and replace exhaust system components. - Use oxy-acetylene welding and brazing processes. - Service a vehicle battery and demonstrate knowledge of vehicle electronics - Paint a surface up to industry standard, including graphics. - Remove and replace interior and exterior motor body components.
