About the course
A solid background in ecology, conservation, and resource management. Skills in research, analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking. Awareness of the social, cultural, political and economic reasons behind contemporary environmental issues. An understanding of the strategies used to manage our impacts on the environment. A direct involvement in the protection and restoration of the natural, rural and urban environments in Northland. Working relationships with industry representatives.
Entry requirements
School leavers require a Sixth Form education or better, with an average of 14 or more NCEA level 2 credits in three year 12 subjects with preference for English, Mathematics and Science. Students over 20 years of age will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
