About the course

Graduates will have an in-depth understanding of animal behaviour, animal health and welfare, and animal-related ethical and legal matters. They will have an understanding of learning theory, which will extend to application of skills in animal training. They will have the ability to successfully execute clinical assessments, identify factors contributing to problem behaviours, and plan behaviour modification programmes, as well as other relevant professional skills such as effective communication and counselling skills. Graduates will also have the ability to design, execute, and interpret original research in this area in the dissertation paper.
