About the course

Graduates will demonstrate independent thought and decision-making in work environments related to journalism, demonstrate effective work and problem-solving skills, display understanding of relevant legal and ethical issues, and critically assess relevant theory and commentary about the role of communication specialists and journalists in society. They will critically appraise their own work practices, demonstrate effective self-management techniques, assess information from work and the local environment, and develop their own data sources and information networks.
