The purpose of this qualification is to provide commercial enterprises in Aotearoa New Zealand with people who are able to manage systems, including data integrity and security, in a science laboratory according to international standards and protocols.

This qualification is for people who have significant experience in a scientific workplace and who want to develop skills and knowledge in the management of laboratory systems.

Our programmes and short courses have one purpose: To help people prepare to start or to advance laboratory careers. Our programmes are not intended for everyone. Our programmes are to prepare people for technical roles in science laboratories. If you do not want to work in a lab, these programmes are not for you.
