About the course
The programme aims to prepare students for: Creative and technological careers in the field of architecture; An active role in the architectural design and technological professions, and the community; Post graduate study and research, and study towards higher qualifications; Taking responsibility for their own continuing professional and personal development; Awareness, in both a national and an international context, of the social responsibility of the designer and technologist within the built environment.
NCEA Level 3 (60 credits at level 3 and 20 credits at level 2 or higher) which must include 14 credits at Level 3 in each of three approved subjects; and Literacy (10 credits at Level 2 or above made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing); and Numeracy (10 credits at Level 1 or above). IELTS 6.5 Academic (with no less than 6.0 in any of the subtests). Additional Requirements apply (Portfolio)
