About the course

By the end of this programme, graduates will have fundamental self-awareness, communication and personal management skills; basic skills for working in groups and with people; the academic skills that enhance their opportunity for enrolling in human service undergraduate programmes, knowledge of the values that support ethical practice within community and human services; a deeper understanding of society on individuals, families and groups in Aotearoa/ New Zealand from a bicultural perspective, while acknowledging the multicultural nature of Aotearoa/ New Zealand society; and an understanding of the multicultural nature of Aotearoa/ New Zealand.
