About the course
At the completion of the Certificate in Gambling and Impulse Control Disorders, graduates will be able to:
-+Identify the similarities and differences between working with clients presenting with Alcohol and other drug issues and clients presenting with gambling or other impulse control disorders.
-+Explain the screening and assessment approaches and treatment plans used with clients who present with gambling and other impulse control disorders.
-+Analyse the key evidence based interventions used with clients who present with gambling and other impulse control disorders.
-+Examine the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of gambling and other impulse control disorders.
-+Undertake a Motivational Interviewing session
