About the course

Graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills required for employment in an office environment. They will have skills to use word processing software to produce business documents; they will have a working knowledge of computer file management, email, diary management, the internet and have the ability to use a database software packages in a business environment. They will have the skills to prepare and present business information; an understanding of privacy and ethical issues within an office environment, and be prepared to apply for relevant employment.
Graduates will have the ability to apply problem solving skills in the use of financial business applications.
Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to pursue further study in the business administration, or business management field.
Entry into a supervised position in an office environment in a secretarial or administrative role.
Graduates will have acquired a range of literacy and numeracy skills equipping them for employment, or for continuing study.
