NZIS Certificate in Sport and Recreation

On successful completion of the course students will have a broad base of skills relevant to the sport and recreation industry and life skills, including skills in oral and written communications, numeracy, basic first aid and injury management, physical fitness and exercise, information technology, sport teaching and coaching and skills for the outdoors. Graduates will be able to enter the work force at an entry level, or alternatively for those wishing to take further studies the qualification provides a pathway to qualifications such as NZIS Level 3 certificates and higher level Diploma qualifications.
