About the course

The purpose of this programme is to provide the health and social sector with graduates who have attained advanced knowledge and scholarship through application of research to their professional practice context.
Graduates will have gained knowledge and skills to provide holistic specialty palliative care in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the needs of the patient, family and whanau living with a terminal illness.

Entry requirements

Registered health professional with current NZ practicing certificate (or equivalent), Bachelor degree (or equivalent) AND relevant clinical employment for a minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per week. (International: IELTS 7.0 in each band)
