About the course
The aim of the Master of Occupational Therapy is to continue to consolidate graduates confidence in their metacognitive abilities through:
* extending their ability to critically evaluate relevant literature, through this knowledge increasing their own and the effectiveness of others occupational therapy interventions offered in the New Zealand bicultural context
* providing opportunities to continually engage in critical inquiry and reflexive reasoning, recognising and acknowledging how these influence the art and science of occupational therapy practice in the New Zealand bicultural context.
* enabling the ongoing development of understanding of how research informs practice developments, and having the opportunity to contribute to the knowledge base of occupational therapy through research.
