Certificate in Foundation Studies (Level 1)

Graduates will have an understanding of their own learning styles and of factors that contribute to successful learning. They will have some understanding of career pathways that are relevant to them, and will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Furthermore, they will have a range of strategies to develop their reading and writing. Graduates will also be able to use numbers to solve problems and to measure shapes, will have knowledge of common sustainability issues, and will have developed their knowledge and skills for further work and further study.
