About the course
Graduates gain a broad base of knowledge and practical skills that are applied to the marine environment. Graduates are able to display a high level of knowledge of the biology & ecology of the temperate marine & freshwater environment, design, survey, analyse & monitor the marine & freshwater environments, describe environmental issues & legislation applicable to the NZ marine environment, display advanced diving skills, understand the bicultural & Treaty of Waitangi implications relating to Aotearoa NZ's marine environment & work safely in the marine and maritime environments.
Entry requirements
6th Form Certificate with Grade 5 minimum in biology, english, maths + 2 others.
