About the course

The graduate will have creative and collaborative strengths and experience which will equip them well in a fast-changing environment; a broadened outlook, and familiarity with the skill requirements of New Zealand?s tertiary academic environment in readiness for further study; strong music skills gained through practical and theoretical application, and life-long strategies to pursue further learning in music, or music-related tertiary studies; an understanding of bicultural issues and understanding of music in relation to New Zealand?s multicultural society; and have an understanding of musical styles and heritages.
