About the course
Successful graduates from this qualification will have developed a wide range of skills and knowledge in the horticulture industry to a level that will enable them to function as a qualified tradesperson in Amenity Horticultre, Fruit Production, Landscape, Nursery Production, or Viticulture.
Graduates will be able to enter into the workforce in a variety of disciplines in the Horticulture Industry including hydroponics, greenhouse management, vegetable production, and crop managment. The qualification can lead to study at a higher level, and credit transfer arrangements are in place with Lincoln University and Massey University.
Graduates will also obtain the National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 and National Certificate in Horticulture Level 2.
