About the course
Upon completion of the qualification graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the forest harvesting industry, specifically the cable logging or ground based logging sector and apply basic work and safety skills relevant to the harvesting sectors of the forestry industry.
The entry requirements for this programme are: Candidates must be New Zealand citizens; or permanent residents of New Zealand. Have a full Level 2 qualification; or Attain competence in a pre-enrolment assessment that reflects literacy and numeracy abilities; and Candidates will require a high level of physical fitness to get the best out of this practical course. Candidates will be required to participate in an interview; and consent to undergo compulsory drug testing.
