About the course
Graduates of this course will be able to proactively, professionally and safely facilitate a limited range of transformative holistic health and wellbeing support or education services to clients in specific community and health education contexts.
All course applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age and will be required to be vetted by Police (applicants are required to have a clean criminal record with no court action or convictions pending.) New Zealand citizens must hold NCEA level 3 or equivalent with a minimum of 10 literacy and 10 numeracy credits or the equivalent, or a Level 3, 60 plus credit qualification. International students must have achieved a minimum of Academic IELTS level 5.5. All applicants meeting the above entry levels will be interviewed in order to assess their suitability for entry. Previous experience or a demonstrated interest in heath education would be advantageous to those seeking entry to this course.
