About the course
This is an entry level qualification for people working or intending to work in the composites sector of manufacturing. This qualification is intended to be completed in the workplace or through a combination of workplace and off-job training.
People who have been awarded this qualification are able to apply a range of skills in the production of composite products.

These skills and knowledge include: care and timeliness, safely shutting down and isolating machinery, health and safety procedures, teamwork, use of hand and power tools, preparation of moulds, production and repair of products and interpretation of drawings. The electives allow candidates to customise their selection according to the type of work they are involved in.
