About the course
The National Certificate in Print Industry Management (Level 4) [Ref: 0912] is an initial qualification for administration and management within the print industry. The qualification is flexible in content as it recognises the wide range of skills within the industry at this level.
The qualification is made up of compulsory standards and three elective sections.
The compulsory section contains standards that enable candidates to demonstrate knowledge of, and carry out research and report on the printing industry.
The elective sections allow candidates to focus on business principles and the manufacturing aspects of the print industry.
It is expected that most people undertaking this qualification will come from a printing production background and may have completed an apprenticeship, and have gained a Level 4 National Certificate in one of the sectors of the print industry. The elective sections within this qualification will enable them to advance into the administration side of the print industry.
This qualification may lead to the National Certificate in Print Industry Management (Level 5) [Ref: 1376], and/or the National Diploma in Print Industry Management (Level 5) [Ref: 1377].
