About the course
This entry level certificate is designed to recognise the ability of the competent learner or junior mediator. However, it can also provide a means of recognising current competency.
The compulsory recognises the underpinning mediation knowledge, and the interpersonal communication skills necessary for people to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using mediation to clarify issues and resolve disputes within state sector organisations.
The range of standards forming the elective allows for the design of a qualification package that meets the needs of a particular organisation or mediation context.
This qualification leads on to the National Certificate in Mediation (Level 5) [Ref: 0470].
