National Certificate in Mediation (Level 5)

This qualification recognises people who have demonstrated the ability to conduct mediations in at least one of a variety of mediation contexts.

The certificate is designed to recognise the ability of the competent mediator. It provides a means of recognising the current competency of mediators employed within state sector organisations.

The structure recognises both the underpinning knowledge and the key skills of mediation and interpersonal communication necessary to conduct a professional mediation.

This qualification may lead on from the National Certificate in Mediation (Interpersonal Communications) (Level 4) [Ref: 0968] or be completed independently of the Level 4 qualification.
