About the course
This diploma provides a nationally recognised qualification for managers of security business functions in security companies or organisations. It combines a wide range of generally applicable business management skills with knowledge of the security industry. For the more technical aspects of the security industry, as opposed to the management of business functions, refer to the National Diploma in Security (Level 6) [Ref: 1059].
Many people seeking this diploma will already be qualified as supervisors in the security field, and may hold the National Certificate in Security Management (Supervision) (Level 5) [Ref: 0561]. However, this is not a prerequisite.
This diploma may lead to more advanced training in professional management or to the National Diploma in Security (Level 6) [Ref: 1059].
