National Certificate in Industrial Machine Knitting (Knitted Goods Production) (Level 3)

This qualification recognises the skills and knowledge required to be a competent industrial knitting machine operator able to operate knitting machines, monitor quality standards and assist in the activities of a knitting plant.

This qualification is comprised of industry specific credits that recognise the necessary trade skills and knowledge in operation, maintenance, quality assurance, and health and safety.

It can build on the National Certificate in Industrial Machine Knitting (Operation) (Level 2) [Ref: 0838], or it can also lead to the National Certificate in Industrial Machine Knitting (Service and Repair) (Level 3) [Ref: 0840], or the National Diploma in Industrial Machine Knitting (Level 5) [Ref: 1552].
