NZQF Level 4

About the course

This qualification is designed to provide recognition for the knowledge and skills required for developing and implementing policies and procedures for safe practice and injury prevention in the construction environment.

The compulsory unit standards recognise the underlying knowledge and skills required in order to plan, implement, review, and manage injury and hazard prevention practices in the construction industry. The strands provide recognition for the specific theoretical and practical skills required by people working in industrial health and safety and supervisory roles in the industry.

The strand in On Site Management is comprised of all of the unit standards present in the On Site Theory and On Site Practical strands, and is designed for those wishing to work in a management role in the construction industry.
