About the course
The Certificate in [Specialty] Education helps you gain the confidence and skills to work with children in an unqualified position in an early childhood centre or as a teacher aide in a primary school. This certificate is at level 5 and students who complete this qualification may be eligible to enter the second year of the Bachelor of Education, which leads to teaching careers in early childhood or primary education.

NCEA: 48 Level 2 Credits plus 8 Level 1 Credits in language rich subjects. CIE: Total 60 Points in UCAS
