About the course

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Counselling will be able to work both independently and collectively demonstrating competence in communication and practice skills. They will demonstrate a broad knowledge of theories and models informing counselling practice, and a range of social issues facing contemporary New Zealand, and apply that knowledge to be an effective counselor.

To be eligible for admission to the programme an applicant must have made written application by the advertised closing date on the prescribed application form and meet the following admission criteria. Applicants must: Be at least 20 years of age
