About the course

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the New Zealand aircraft manufacturing industry with graduates who have gained the skills and knowledge required of people working in all areas of aircraft manufacturing, as well as including a concentration of specialist skills required for an operator working under either, the New Zealand Defence Force Airworthiness Policy, or Part 145, Part 146, and/or Part 148 of the Civil Aviation Rules 1990.

Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive set of skills relating to aircraft manufacturing. Their applied skills and knowledge will involve working under broad guidance , and they may also have some responsibility for the performance of others
