About the course
On completion of the course students will have: achieved an intermediate level of competence in reading, writing, speaking and listening in Japanese adequate for communicating easily in most daily life situations; achieved deeper understanding of the cultural and social implications of communicating in Japanese using appropriate levels of speech and written expression; acquired skills in written and oral Japanese equivalent to Level 3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test; acquired skills in Japanese which provide a firm basis for further development leading to vocational employment.
