New Zealand Certificate in Locksmithing (Trade)

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the locksmithing industry with locksmiths who have the skills and knowledge required to specify, safely install, service, repair, and bypass locking systems, and to produce keys for those systems.

Graduates will be able to work independently to the required specifications while maintaining the ethics and integrity required of the locksmithing industry.

This qualification is designed for people working in the industry and will typically be achieved in a workplace environment whilst completing a New Zealand Apprenticeship.
