New Zealand Certificate in Solid Wood Manufacturing with strands in Finger Jointing; Laminating; Pole, Post and Pile; Sawmilling; Timber Drying and Treatment; Timber Grading; Timber Machining; and Wood Pallet Manufacturing

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the solid wood manufacturing industry with people who have introductory skills and knowledge relevant to entry-level roles within this industry.

Each strand represents a process undertaken in solid wood manufacturing. Graduates will be capable of working safely in entry-level operational roles in one of these processes under general supervision.
