About the course

Not offered in New Zealand. Holders of the DipSMgmt&ExSc will have sound knowledge of human body structure and function as well as principles of fitness and sports training. They will be able to prescribe, demonstrate and supervise exercise programmes for the general public, athletes and sports teams. They will be able to undertake management tasks at beginning level in sporting or fitness venues. They will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the field, demonstrating safe, effective collegial practice that is accountable, professional, and ethically acceptable.

Entry requirements

NCEA: 48 Level 2 credits including 8 Level 2 credits in a language rich subject OR 5 passes at GCE O level or equivalent.
