About the course
Our fees-free 20 week New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) is the perfect way to retrain for modern office systems. It is designed for those who will be running the admin side of their own business, wish to work in an administration role, or upskill.
This hands-on course will help students grow their knowledge, understanding and skills using the Microsoft Office Suite. While covering computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher, it also includes business report writing, communication skills and creating business documents.
The course uses a combination of classroom tutorials and ‘step-by-step’ handbooks, to ensure each part of the course remains highly practical and relevant to what employers expect from their administration staff. This course is very practical and has students at a computer from the first day. The course is full-time but flexibility in attending the course is allowed.
Entry requirements
- For students aged 16+.
- No previous qualifications or experience are necessary, however, some familiarity with a computer is required.
- You will be asked to attend an interview which may include a short written or computer orientation task.
