The First Line Management (Level 4) programme is designed to give experienced and aspiring managers the practical skills and knowledge to lead effective teams and manage workflows to achieve team and business objectives.

- New or existing managers | leaders wanting to increase their capability, skills and knowledge.
- Team Leaders wanting to move into management roles (who can meet the project requirements for assessment.
- Managers who want a formal qualification.
Entry requirements
New Zealand citizen or resident.
- Must be employed in a management/supervisory role, with access to people and resources to execute a workplace improvement project.
- Full support from your manager, supervisor, or senior colleague.
- Regular access to and use of a computer with reliable internet.
- Minimum of three years secondary education; or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2; or equivalent workplace experience.
- Learners who have English as a second language are required to have an International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of 5 in the academic band, with no individual band score lower than 5; or equivalent described in NZQA Rules.
*This course is not available to international students.
