About the course
Graduates are prepared for a career in the creative media industries, with the knowledge and skills suitable for advanced industry level entry into multimedia positions within the creative media industries. They will be able to demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating theoretical concepts; analyse and plan approaches to solving technical multimedia problems transfer and application of theoretical concepts and or technical or creative skills to a range of multimedia production situations. Graduates will also qualify for the National Certificate in Electronic Multimedia (Advanced) (Level 4) on completion of required unit standards.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a minimum of 17 years and have completed at least School Certificate or NCEA Level 1 in Maths and Science, or be over 20 years of age. International applicants must be aged 18 years or over, and also have academic IELTS test score 6.0 minimum (or equivalent) if English is their second language.
