About the course

The purpose of this diploma is to provide New Zealand with graduates who have updated knowledge and specialist skills to remain current in a specific area of Web & Multimedia Systems, in response to the changing needs and demands of the dynamic ICT environment. The graduates will obtain specific knowledge and technical skills to design, develop and maintain Web sites and applications, mobile applications, multimedia graphic designing and user experience. Alongside the technical knowledge, graduates will be empowered to have a strong customer focus, integrity, and solid analytical skills.
Graduates will be capable of applying current ICT Professional skills, knowledge and practice that will be internationally recognised. They will be able to operate with appropriate professional standards and practice, both independently and as part of a team. Businesses, organisations and communities will benefit from having an on-going supply of ICT Professionals who are experienced and qualified in an area of their current ICT field.

Tasman offers fun outside activities that give students the opportunity to make friends outside the classroom and explore New Zealand at the same time.In the past our activities have included beach barbecues, sports days, the Maritime museum, ice-skating, and a trip to the International Gardens in Hamilton.
