About the course
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the apparel and fashion manufacturing sector with people who are able to use advanced technical skills in patternmaking, garment construction, and production to meet customer requirements and organisational procedures.
This qualification is suitable for experienced people working in the apparel and fashion manufacturing sector and recognises the wide range of specific technical skills and knowledge required to operate as production assistants, merchandise assistants, specification technicians, assistant stylists and assistant designers.
Graduates will be capable of complete self-management of learning and performance within defined contexts.
