About the course
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the hospitality sector with work-ready managers for a range of hospitality settings. With communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the soft skills required in the hospitality industry combined with problem-solving, marketing, strategy, innovation, and specialised technical skills and knowledge, graduates will have enhanced employment opportunities in all sectors of the hospitality industry. Graduates will be able to operate at a supervisory management level demonstrating specialist knowledge and skills and the standards of professional practice required by the hospitality sector. This Diploma in Hospitality Management is designed for graduates of hospitality programmes at lower levels, or international students who are graduates of degree programmes overseas. Graduates may become accomplished managers, capable of working across a range of hospitality enterprises, inclusive of restaurants, cafes, hotels, conferences, and catering organisations. It will also cater to those within the hospitality industry who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge base at a more advanced level.
