New Zealand Certificate in Language Teaching

This qualification is for those who are or want to be a language educator in Aotearoa New Zealand or overseas. It represents a base level qualification for a professional language educator who can operate independently.

Candidates will be expert users of the target language, which may be English or any other language.

North Shore Language School are a private academy specialising in English language training for second language speakers as well as specialising in the training of teachers (TESOL).

North Shore Language School opened in 2003 and caters for students from Beginner level right up to NZCEL and IELTS classes in which more advanced students can train in English and exam techniques.

There are a number of beaches in the local area. The closest beaches (Milford Beach and Takapuna Beach) are just a 5 minute drive away. The school is on a main bus route and close to convenient shopping areas. The North Shore is considered to be a very safe area to live in and the school can assist in finding a homestay or other suitable accommodation.
